I graduated from CMU in May 2006 with a degree in finance and took a job at a mortgage company. In January I decided to leave that job and find something more in my field. Since then I haven’t had much luck in with my job search and was wondering if anyone knows of any entry level finance related positions in the southeast Michigan area. In addition to working as a mortgage broker I also completed an internship at Smith Barney.

I don’t know exactly where in Finance I want to work, it might be along the lines of banking but I’m still unsure. I want to post my resume on Monster.com but it asks you to put a job title/position. I don’t know what to put! Is "financial analyst" good? What if you want to work in a bank??

I’m a 23yr old college student majoring in business right now. I am at a local community college for right now and would love to get into the the field I wish to pursue… which is finance. However, no matter where I look (monster, newspapers, online, etc) there are NEVER any entry-level finance positions out there that do not require a degree. I have never held a position in finance and I am starting to think that I never will until my degree is completed (which will be a while). Does anyone have any suggestions for me? job titles perhaps I should look into?, etc. thank you!

All of the job boards seem to suck. I find that hardly any of the jobs are for entry level workers. I have a BS in Business Administration (Finance major Accting Minor). I also have a MBA. I have a year of financial services experience and about 5 years of sales experience. What do I do? Also, I live in Louisiana but I am more than willing to relocate.
