I’ve applied to numerous jobs all over the place and I never hear back from anyone. I’ve got 4 years experience in the financial services industry, a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration with Financial Leadership. I apply to jobs that I know I can do and I know I’m qualified for but, never hear from anyone. Any advice?
What do you mean a mismatch in my resume? Can you explain?

I just graduated college and have the opportunity to accept a position as a financial services rep with a reputable company. I was curious to hear from anyone who has worked in the financial services industry as to what the job will entail on a day to day basis and what type of salary can expect? Thanks!
I am a recent law school graduate with a bachelor’s degree in finance. I’m looking to get my foot in the door in the the field of Corporate Compliance with either an Investment Bank, Hedge fund, Money management firm.
I have some hedge fund and financial adviser internship experience, but not any direct Compliance experience (besides my law school studies.)
What position would be a good entry level job to move in the direction of compliance. I know that many large financial firms are doing very little in terms of hiring nowadays. But how can begin to build some knowledge in this area so that I’m ready when the market picks up again? Thanks…
Looking for a good corp. culture maybe Prudential or Met, etc. Not really a balls to the wall kinda atmosphere. Who gives the best leads? Who’s easiest to leave later on w/ your clients? What’s a decent (average) time until 150k+ salary? This is for a beginner in the industry but not the subject matter. I’m also trying to compare the time it takes to make 150k to a couple of other jobs. Thanks.
in February 2002 I was charged with one count of Conspiracy to Produce False Identification. Since them, I have been afraid to take any job that has any kind of background check. I have a good knowledge about this field, and want to do this as a career. My question is, can I? Can I get licensed?

I just graduated with a marketing degree in the San Francisco Bay Area. I know that the clean tech industry is active in the area and I am looking to get an entry-level marketing job. It seems that the companies are looking for scientists, accountants, and finance, but I am having trouble find marketing positions for new graduates.
I have found a few marketing internships for clean tech companies, but it is unclear what entry-level job the internship would be preparing me for. I understand that sales is the obvious marketing position, but what other types of marketing positions might be available.
I am looking into solar, but I am interested in other possibilities in the industry.
